How to choose a good cycling backpack
Cycling backpacks are suitable for short-distance cycling activities. Generally speaking, cycling backpacks are not recommended for those with a riding mileage of more than 100 kilometers. But for short-distance cycling, choosing a cycling backpack is still a better way to store items
It depends on whether a cycling backpack is good or not. From several aspects, a scientific carrying system, loading system, fabric selection, and breathable and sweat-wicking design are necessary.
1.Carrying system: The backpack carrying system consists of a back panel, shoulder straps, chest strap and waist belt. The back panel is used to support the entire backpack. A good backpack can evenly distribute the gravity of the backpack. Shoulder straps, waist pads and chest straps play an important role in fixing and must be adjusted. Different adjustments can be made according to the individual's body shape to better fix them and reduce friction. In addition, the skin contact area of the shoulder strap and the inner side of the waist belt should be soft and elastic, effectively changing the upper and lower friction of the upper shoulder belt or waist belt from elastic vibration. The chest strap not only needs to be adjustable in length, but also the fixed point on the chest strap should be set as a sliding rail to facilitate adjustment to a personally comfortable position.
2. Fabric. Generally, cycling bags are made of PU-coated nylon fabric, which has the functions of waterproof, anti-drying, abrasion, and tear resistance. Whether a backpack is durable or not, the fabric is the main determining factor.
3. Designed with ventilation and perspiration wicking system. When riding, the backpack is completely buckled on the back. If the back is not ventilated during riding, it will be quite uncomfortable if the wet sweat is covered on the back.
4. Whether the loading system is reasonable. Backpacks usually consist of a main bag, a side bag, and an attached bag. Cycling bags will be made relatively small, generally no more than 30L, generally 10L, 14L, 18L, 20L, 25L, etc. Therefore, through the design of each part of the backpack, the objects can be better distributed, the capacity can be used rationally, and of course, the more important thing is the convenience of access.
